Construction work on the two I-205 bridges crossing Northeast Alderwood and the Columbia Slough near Cascade Station/Portland International Center and Portland International Airport may impact motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians.
The project spanning Nov. 10 through spring 2015 is a seismic retrofit of the two bridges.
On I-205, the work will include some closures of left traffic lanes at night only.
On Northeast Alderwood, the project will include some single lane closures while maintaining traffic in both directions. Motorists can expect some delays and should watch for lane change signage. Bicyclists and pedestrians should watch for signage for bike lane and sidewalk changes and use extra caution in the construction area.
