What was the Willamette Valley like 200 years ago? How have native fish communities, river habitats and water quality changed since then? What are the plausible options for the river’s future? Join Professors Stan Gregory (Oregon State) and Dave Hulse (University of Oregon) as they lead you on a fascinating journey through the Willamette River, sharing stories of its ecological past and visions for its future using historical film clips and video animation. Joe Whitworth, The Freshwater Trust, and Bobby Cochran, Willamette Partnership, will then join the conversation to present how these visions become reality to ensure the Willamette River’s health and vitality for future generations.
